Set in a dark bar, Three Olives follows a painfully conflict-averse bartender and a fragile customer whose simple request for a dry martini with three olives turns into a catastrophe. As each attempt to get the order right escalates from one olive to three, the characters become trapped in an excruciating dribble between fear and politeness.

The story’s central irony: How much we reveal under the pressure of appearing "appropriate". Told through restrained, introspective voiceover, the film underlines the absurd weight of minor social expectations.
